With a desire to experience all that life has to offer Kathleen decided at an early age to go against the grain of the popular belief to focus on only one career, and continues to explore her many passions and talents. From 2008 to present day she has simultaneously owned several small businesses, while various, they all had one thing in common; healing. Recently she made the decision to create a business model to umbrella them under one company, Kathleen’s Healing Arts.

Since childhood Kathleen has had an affinity for horses and their natural ability to help people heal through emotional intelligence. This gift has allowed her to bond with them quickly and deeply, impressing her mentors and customers. Training them, using a gentling method vs breaking method, in personal and professional settings has been and honor, and aided her in her own healing journey. She continues to work with them on a daily basis alongside her other passions. In the near future she aspires to incorporate them into her programs as a Holistic Success Coach in the form of Equine Therapy.

Although art was her second greatest love, in 2004 she decided to shift her focus from attending the Art Institute of California, and instead pursued her first career as a cosmetologist creating art on a new medium; hair. While she appreciated the learning experience of how to manage and run a salon by working as an employee, she had come from entrepreneurs and knew was born to be one. Given her history with art theory she rapidly became a master colorist. Her growing client list, coupled with her business skills created the opportunity to open her salon in 2008. She quickly grew to love her new business and her loyal clientele; however the physical demands began to take their toll on her body.

Kathleen became a certified 200hr RYT instructor in 2012 through Purple Lotus Yoga. However, her yoga journey began much earlier. She has always had a thirst for life, her physically demanding business, extreme sports and horseback riding. Yet she had never found a way to balance her body, nor a way to “shut off” her busy mind. That was until she walked into her first yoga class in 2007. She knew she was seeking something more, and she found it. After leaving class, she felt calm, grounded, connected to something bigger than herself, and couldn’t ignore her bodies gratitude. Like many, she started off in the more challenging classes with the mindset of an athlete. When she went through her certification she was required to explore other styles of yoga. By embracing them and Vedic Philosophy which resonated with her on a deeply spiritual level, she knew that her body, mind, and life were introduced to balance. To date she loves being a versatile teacher embracing multiple styles of yoga while specializing in vinyasa, hatha, gentle and yin. And couples these styles with philosophy, meditation, EFT, in depth chakra work, and self-care to create powerful workshops that leave her students wanting more. In addition she has helped to coordinate, host, market and create healing yoga-based programs and retreats.

In 2017, she really began to bloom and so did her multiple careers. After helping her father-in-law start his wood working business, she decided she needed to lead by inspiration and become a professional artist as well. Using her business mindset she decided to decorate her salon with her paintings, sketches and wine glasses and let her brick and mortar become a multi-faceted store front. Before long her salon clients, became her art customers and eventually her private yoga students.

In addition to expanding these businesses in 2017, to she followed in her grandmother’s footsteps in holistic health, and received her 100hr Ayurveda Wellness Consultant Certification with Arpita Shah. When she broke her spine in 2018 and learned she had developed osteoporosis at the age of thirty-two, the skills and knowledge she learned would save her life.

While she had to close her salon and eventually stop teaching during her two-year recovery, she mourned the loss, but she wouldn’t let it stop her from pursuing her dreams. Continuing her holistic learning journey 2019, she received additional certifications as a Law of Attraction Life Coach and Tapping into Wealth EFT Coach. As a stylist and yoga instructor she had inadvertently helped her clients, students and loved ones to pursue their dreams and heal in all areas of their life. Now she was able to do so on a professional level, in group coaching, one on one sessions and as an onboarding coaching during her stint as a marketing manager. But after helping several open or improve their business she decided to laser focus on empowering female entrepreneurs.

Present day, she enjoys combining all of her healing passions into her classes, workshops, coaching and Ayurvedic skin care products. Her main mission in life is to help empower women to shine brightly by embracing their unique beauty inside and out.
